Heather Rieder is passionate about helping people discover that what they want and need is right there within them. Nobody said it better than Glinda, the Good Witch, from The Wizard of Oz… “You had it all along.”
Heather is a professional Co-Active Coach, trained by The Coaches Training Institute – the world’s leading coach training organization. Through her training, Heather has learned that the best teachers are those who show your where to look, but don’t tell you what to see. As a Co-Active Coach, Heather creates a team with you – a partnership for the purpose of fulfilling your needs. Her role is never to attempt to “fix” you (‘cause you ain’t broke!) or to give you the answers. Her promise is to listen and be curious, to be brave on your behalf, and to ask the powerful questions that bring new perspective. Heather promises to be open in sharing her own challenges and triumphs, and to have a box of Kleenex on hand at all times!
The most important degree Heather has attained is from the “school” of real life. She’s enjoyed a 33-year marriage that has experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly, and has come full circle. Heather is a mother of two and “Gigi” to a fun-loving, spontaneous granddaughter who has taught her the true meaning of living in the moment.
Heather has had birthday parties and pity parties. She’s been lost and found time and again. She’s experienced being overweight and hungry, spiritual but without spirit, and wishing but never truly believing. She has suffered from debilitating anxiety and survived a rare and terrifying heart attack in 2009. Through it all, she has learned that life is short and fear is nothing but a distraction.
Heather’s unique, varied background in fitness and natural health, real estate, banking, housing, and volunteering has all brought her to the path to coaching. Being a coach is Heather’s “forever” calling, one that gives her goose bumps, and has helped her evolve into a believer.
She believes in imperfection and hope, forgiveness and second chances, nourishing our bodies with movement and nutritious food, and above all, she believes in dreams and new beginnings.
Contact Heather to learn how she can help you with midlife transitions and crises, empty nest syndrome, health and wellness, heart attack recovery, spirituality, anxiety and depression, weight loss, and relationships. Be sure to ask about how Heather can help you transform into a Sexy Grandma!
Like everyone, Heather considers herself to still be “under construction.” Life can be a crazy ride… Don’t keep it waiting!
Heather has this crazy, fun, any things possible attitude and an infectious personality that you can’t help but love. Engaging Heather is one of the best things I have done for myself. Heather is helping me help myself. – Kathy, Brisbane, Australia
