Heather is a professional Co-Active Coach, trained by The Coaches Training Institute – the world’s leading coach training organization. Heather has been actively coaching since 2012. As a Health and Wellness Strategist, Heather creates a team with you – a partnership for the purpose of fulfilling your needs. Her promise is to listen and be curious, and to ask the powerful questions that bring new perspective. Heather promises to be open in sharing her own challenges and triumphs.
Heather’s 37-year marriage has experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly. Sound familiar? Heather is a mother of two and “Gigi” to two fun-loving, spontaneous granddaughters who have taught her the true meaning of living in the moment.
She’s experienced being overweight and hungry, spiritual but without spirit, and wishing but never truly believing. She has suffered from debilitating anxiety and survived a rare and terrifying heart attack in 2009. Through it all, she has learned that life is short and fear is nothing but a distraction.
Being a coach is Heather’s “forever calling”. It has renewed her belief of imperfection and hope, forgiveness and second chances, nourishing our bodies with movement and nutritious food, and above all, she believes in dreams and new beginnings.
Society has a stereotype of “old” as boring, weak, disabled, grouchy, unproductive.
I’m sorry, but that gets me fired up!
In this place called middle age, I feel passionate, joyful, healthy, ageless and sexy. I wrote a book called The Sexy Grandma to prove my point. It’s about reconnecting with yourself and unravelling the layers of life, shedding the stigmas of growing older, and engaging in a healthy satisfying life.
I have had an interesting life, without its challenges I would have not been able to stretch myself into the corners I have explored. I’d love to speak to you, learn about your challenges, and help you make the most of the one life you’ve got!
